Shahapur is an upcoming vacation getaway destination in Thane disctrict located in the Shayadri Hills of Maharashtra. It is also known as golden triangle city. It is delightful throughout the year, an ideal temperature ranging from 14°C to 29°C during winter and 24°C to 38°C degrees during summers. Thus, you can plan to visit this destination any time of the year. Monsoons are another level of thrill to add with lots of fun activities.
Location & accessibility
The property is located just 50 Kms from Mumbai and 9 kms from Asangaon railway station.
You can easily access the villa using the public transportation, which will drop you at the city highway and from there you will have to make an arrangment to reach the villa.
Will suggest using google maps to avoid any confusion. We had taken our own private car so it was a smooth run, one of our friend planned to join us later and travelled by train. From Asangaon station you can get a share rickshaw which will drop you till the city area, and from there you will need a pick up, so we got our friend picked up from the liberty oil mill.

Accommodation and common areas
This Villa’s unique design eschews tradition for modern minimalism, towering ceilings and an undeniable olden-charm like cottages. Featuring aesthetically designed interiors, delicious dining and excellent amenities, this contemporary villa is royalty reimagined. Experience a relaxing, decadent vacation in the company of your loved ones, serving enough recreational space for a group to indulge and is best suited for couples, families with children and large groups.
The villa can accommodate up to 40 guests for stay and upto 200 for day event. They take security deposit to safeguard the interest of the property in case of any damage is done to the property by guests during their stay.
The Villa has four bedrooms, one play room, one kitchen, one prayer room, one storage room, one large and one mini living rooms. All the four rooms in the villa are spacious and lavish completely air-conditioned with sofa set, dressing table and cupboards. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and two on the first floor. All the bedrooms are well-equipped with double-sized beds and linens. There are seven washrooms two being common for everyone to use on each floor. The bathrooms are also well-equipped with toiletries, shower, toilet paper etc.
Both the living rooms have 11 seater sofa on ground floor and 9 seater on first floor. The ground floor living room is well-equipped with a flat-screen TV with access to Netflix, local channels, dining table and extra seating area. The top living room have a speaker unit with Karaoke system, bar area and spacious rootftop terrace with sitting arrangments. They also have portable loudspeakers which can be easily moved and connected to your device with bluetooth. The entire ground unit is accessible by wheelchair and the upper floors are accessible by stairs only.
The kitchen has essentials which we ideally need like Microwave, Refrigerator, Stove, utensils etc.
The prayer room allows you to get some peace and meditate. Bring in the positive energy while you calm down your innersoul.
As it is sitiuated in the outskirts of the main city, network can be an issue in some rooms, but they have good WiFi service available and free of charge. It is ideal for the Work From Home situation too.
It has ample parking space for the visitor to park on the property.
Activities & experiences

It also has a hidden terrace that takes you closer to watch golden hour sunset through your naked eyes.
The indoor playroom has ample activities which can be explored for people who like playing inside. Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom Board, Playing Cards are few listed activties you can take your own set of poker or other board games too.
Listing, the outdoor activties like Badminton, Cricket Ground, Football, Volleyball, Playing ground for kids, Swimming Pool, Rain Dance, Walking Trail and more. The swimming area is equipped with lounge chairs, gazebo, hammock, wet area and the most fun part Rain dance. Beat the heat and feel the monsoons in the summer.
You make the most of the garden lawn and indulge in various outdoor sports or simply relax accompanied by a drink of your choice on the patio. Surrounded by green lush enjoy the amazing views, fresh breeze and gossip you wouldn’t want to miss.
The villa also has an arrangement for bonfire and barbeque, so if you are interested in doing such activity you can inform the caretaker prior in the day, so the arrangements can be done.
Meals
A prefixed menu with home-cooked meals is available on an extra cost prepared by their in house chef. Tea/Coffee with snacks are served during breakfast and evening time. If you would like to customize it can be done by informing the host prior. The cost will depend as to what customization you add. They also help you with Jain Meals.
During our stay the chef had prepared some really scrumptious meal both for veg and non-veg options. The chicken was cooked in typical maharashtrian style with chapatis and rice and amazing sweet dish to end the dinner with. We had opted for the meals, as it was hassle-free and didn’t had to look out for restaurants and decide on what to eat.
If you plan to not opt for their meals, the host will help you with the nearby restaurants that would help you get the food. But there would be limited options if you order the food from there, instead would suggest to get your own food if coming for one day stay.

Lunch: 12:30 pm – 2.00 pm
Tea: 4 pm – 5.30 pm
Dinner: 8:00 pm – 10.00 pm
The host is friendly, and very accomodative when it came to any request we had. As we had slept late, so we had pre-informed the chef about making the breakfast little later which he agreed and graciously served the best soft steamed idli with sambar the next day at our time.
About safety
Due to the pandemic situation safety measure have become a cause of major concern and this villa does abide by the rules. The premises was well-sanitized before our arrival and all visitors had their temperature measured and sanitized. They also have first aid medical box available in villa.
As per the Government of India’s security regulations, it is mandatory for all guests to show ID proof at the time of check-in. Please ensure you carry this with you.

The host- Meena Patel was flexible in terms of booking, date and requests as we do encounter situations where you require assistance or service during the stay and she was helpful in every step. The villa offered us the services as promised and the experience was amazing.
